Resources for Creating Community Owned Health & Social Care

Saul Gallick and Sam Kammerling from the Holy Cross Centre Trust hosted a session at Losing Control 2019 titled “Creating Genuine Community Ownership in Health and Social Care”. The Holy Cross Centre Trust works with people experiencing social exclusion, isolation and marginalisation and their approach is shaped by the belief that seeing people as more than their problem or label is fundamental to any meaningful change. Their session explored what community co-ownership might mean for a social care organisation and what this could look like in practice.
